Kim Kardashian West headed to the White House to meet with President Donald Trump to discuss a wide range of topics, including federal prison reform legislation and Ms. Alice Marie Johnson, a great-grandmother who is now serving a life sentence for a first time non-violent drug offense.

Johnson has served over 21 years in prison for participating in a drug conspiracy.

Trump took to Twitter Wednesday evening to tout the high-profile confab on an issue - prison reform - that has brought together the political right and left in Washington and around the country.

Vanity Fair reported that Kardashian West was expected to attend a dinner at the home of Kushner and wife Ivanka Trump, following the White House sit-down. "Jared Kushner, who I've spoke to, has been really working on some criminal justice reform bills and I would love to sit and talk to them", she told Mic earlier this month.

Kim is set to make the visit to the White House without the KUWTK cameras, her sisters or Trump-supporter husband Kanye.

Kardashian now wants Trump to pardon Johnson. "It's very nice that she is here, but that's not a serious thing to have happened here at the White House".

Alyssa Milano has accused the New York Post of "unacceptable sexism" for a recent headline regarding Kim Kardashian's meeting with Donald Trump.

Kim continued, saying that 'We are optimistic about Ms. Johnson's future and hopeful that she - and so many like her - will get a second chance at life'.

Ramos' 'Dirty Tricks': Thousands Sign Petition Against Real Madrid Captain
The 25-year-old was devastated after being substituted during Saturday night's final, and wept profusely as he left the field. Egypt will be at the World Cup for the first time since 1990 and face hosts Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia in Group A.

He also pardoned vice president Dick Cheney's former chief of staff Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

Alice Marie Johnson was sent to prison on eight criminal counts in 1996.

In an interview with Mic released earlier this month, Kardashian West said she'd been moved by Johnson's story after seeing a video by the news outlet on Twitter.

And, of course, Donald Trump couldn't wait to share a photo of their meeting.

Kardashian West also hoped for a sit down with President Trump, a member of Johnson's legal team told The Associated Press.

She was accompanied by her personal attorney, Shawn Holley, who is helping Johnson. "Out of desperation, I made one of the worst decisions of my life to make some quick money".

In a hand-scrawled letter last June she wrote: "I'm a broken woman".

Most recently, Trump issued a posthumous pardon for Jack Johnson, the legendary boxer who was widely believed to have been sentenced to prison in 1913 because he was black. Brown, 30, was sentenced to life in prison in 2004 for killing a man when she was 16, although many have argued that she was a victim of sex trafficking.
