The third Championship side to secure promotion to the English Premier League has now been revealed, following Saturday's play-off final at Wembley Stadium.
According to reports, the former Chelsea captain - who joined Villa on a one-year deal last summer - is eager to sign a new contract with the club, but one which would allow him to miss both games against the team he made his name were his current side to get promoted.
Villa will also be without Axel Tuanzebe and Jed Steer as both remain unavailable for the massive fixture, however, Bruce has also stated that he has no other concerns and will be able to choose from an nearly fully fit squad.
Bruce joked that would be the case when asked if it was certain Terry would stay at Villa if they earned promotion, saying: 'Well, we'll not pick him against Chelsea if that's what he wants.
"I don't know that you can describe what the feeling is right now and the emotions, and the release of everything that's gone on this season, in the second half of the season", Ream told Sky Sports. "In my eyes in the last two years we have been the best team in this league".
"We have to have a healthy respect for Fulham but not be fearful of them", Bruce, 57, added. The Premier League is the most competitive league and we must be clever. "We must try to dominate the situation and put them under stress".
"If it is us then we have to regroup, rebuild and go again".
Fulham's passing game and style of play has won plaudits, with teenager Ryan Sessegnon picking up several awards after scoring 16 goals this season from the left wing. We believe in our style. I really genuinely hope he triggers it.
