Liquid chocolate spills onto Polish highway, creates sticky mess

The chocolate covered six lanes blocking traffic in both directions

A tanker truck has overturned on a Polish highway, spilling 12 tonnes of liquid chocolate after crashing through a traffic barrier.

The incident occurred on the A2 highway between Warsaw and Poznan.

The tanker flipped over and landed across the road with its contents covering six lanes of traffic, blocking vehicles from passing in both directions.

A major highway in Poland has been closed because it is covered in chocolate.

Prince George is also expected to have a role in the wedding ceremony, which is expected to last around an hour. Harry revealed the engagement ring designed for Meghan was "yellow gold because that's her favourite".

Local media report that the truck driver had to be taken to hospital with a broken arm.

A local firefighter told reporters that the chocolate would take hours to clear as when it freezes it's "worse than snow". By the time clean up crews had arrived the liquid had begun to solidify, making the scene hard to clean up, local police said.

On top of that, apparently some drivers made a decision to drive through the chocolate before the highway was closed, spreading it out further still. She also said that the clean-up crew which was using hot water to melt and wash away the chocolate was in good spirits.
