The arrest came just before 10 p.m. after a lengthy vehicle chase involving officers of various law enforcement agencies.

The person of interest, identified as 29-year-old Armando Juarez, was taken into custody after a police chase ended off Lemmon Avenue near Dallas Love Field about 9 p.m. Tuesday, sources told WFAA.

"We got our man", Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said at the late-night news conference.

In a tweet about the shooting Tuesday evening, the Dallas Police Department said the officers were critically wounded. He did not say that there were any fatalities.

Police had launched a manhunt for Armando Luis Juárez, 29, earlier on Tuesday. He is believed to have left the incident driving a white pickup truck.

A civilian was also wounded, the department said, but that person's condition was not known. He said she is now undergoing surgery.

The two police officers were called to the store to help an off-duty officer with removing the man from the store.

Popovich missed his second straight game after his wife, Erin, passed away Wednesday following a prolonged illness. The Pacers committed a staggering 20 turnovers, which was peculiar given the two teams' regular-season profiles.

The officers and the civilian are now in surgery.

Officials were searching for a suspect, according to the local CBS affiliate.

A warrant for his arrest was issued and his bond was increased to $10,000 on February 5, 2018, by Judge Dominique Collins, when Juarez failed to appear in court for a case from November, on a state jail felony theft charge for allegedly taking goods worth more than $2,500.

We will provide updates as information becomes available.

Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall, at a press conference, asked everyone to pray for the victims and their families.

According to officials 911 dispatchers received a call to go to the Home Depot Tuesday night shortly after officers arrived on the scene. They using a helicopter and trained dogs to search for the suspect.

This happened at a Home Depot off Central Expressway and Forest Lane in Northeast Dallas.
