Manchester City boss fears Premier League title collapse

SUBSTANTIAL DIFFERENCE Pep Guardiola's side extended their lead over second-placed Manchester United to 16 points thanks to goals from Gabriel Jesus Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling at Wembley

Guardiola claimed he has only 14 frontline players available, though only named a few of those out.

Having led the table since mid-September, it would represent one of the most dramatic collapses in sporting history if City were caught by neighbours United, who Guardiola expects to win all their remaining six games to reach an 89-point total that would have won the championship in 16 Premier League campaigns.

Manchester United stars played loud music in the dressing room after recording a 3-2 victory in the Manchester derby against City. "They do great pressing and have a lot of talented players, like [Mousa] Dembele, [Jan] Vertonghen, Dele Alli, [Christian] Eriksen, Son [Heung-min] and [Harry] Kane is their top scorer".

"Aguero is injured", Guardiola said. When I heard pundits and fans in November they said it's all done, it's impossible for City to drop points.

"All the other contenders, after losing a game, have maybe lost another one - and we didn't do that. I don't know about Swansea if he will be ready, so hopefully for the last games if we need him and then for the World Cup". Football, like all sports, is full of emotions. But we have handled the pressure all season.

First of all, City's rivals would need to win relentlessly between now and the end of the season to have any chance of threatening their place at the summit.

Tyson Fury Books His Return on June 9
June 9th at the @ManchesterArena is the first step back to reclaiming what is rightfully his. But Fury is back and has teamed up with Frank Warren .

"We tried to reach the semifinals [of the Champions League], to win the Premier League", Guardiola said.

"Of course it can happen, I assure you", Guardiola said about City's prospects of throwing away the title.

That could very well happen this season, of course, with an FA Cup semi final clash with Manchester United to look forward to, but the only thing on the Tottenham players' minds' at the moment will be their clash with City in the Premier League tomorrow. Real Madrid, many years ago, lose six games in a row and didn't win the league.

City were 4-1 winners when the sides last met back in December, and although fourth-placed Spurs are the form team heading into this one, you have to go all the way back to August 2006 to find the last time the Citizens suffered four consecutive losses.

"It's in our hands, that is the good advantage". If we lose we're going to do it in a similar way to the way we played against United and Liverpool. "Congratulations to the opponents if they beat us".

To make matters worse, Sergio Aguero may struggle to play again this season after aggravating a knee injury when he was flattened by Ashley Young in the derby and again when he made a 24-minute appearance off the bench in the second leg against Liverpool.
