Ghost Recon Wildlands' Year 2 plans detailed
Free content will be released for Ghost Recon Wildlands starting with Special Operation 1 on April 10. Part of this comes in the form of addressing fan-requested additions.
There will be four free "major" content drops in the future, called Special Operations updates, with a special theme and PvE as well as PvP content.
Whatever your thoughts may be on Ghost ReconWildlands, there's no denying the fact that Ubisoft is supporting the open world shooter with plenty of content. It will feature new Teammate Customization options, which will let players change their outfits using all the items they've unlocked.
Updates for Ghost War PvP will also be included alongside "features highly requested by the community". In this mode, an attacking team will set out to capture and hold an objective area, the defending team will try to stop them.
It will also include a new PvP game mode called Sabotage, with five maps exclusive to it, the first of six new PvP classes, and new perks and weapons.
Year 2 of Wildlands will also see the release of a Season Pass, which offers players a week of early access to fresh content including new Ghost War classes, a customisation pack, and eight Battle Crates. More information is here and in the video below.
Ghost Recon Wildlands players can enjoy a second year of post-launch support starting next week.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
