Former Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham headed to Green Bay
Bennett was the running backs coach for the Packers between 2008-10, or Nelson's first three National Football League seasons, and the wide receivers coach from 2011-14 before being promoted to Green Bay's offensive coordinator in 2015-17. The move is one of two big moves for the Packers Tuesday, as they released former Pro Bowl wide receiver Jordy Nelson as well.
Nelson has caught 550 passes for 7,848 yards and 69 touchdowns in his career, playing all ten seasons in Green Bay. He's most often been flexed out wide or in the slot as a pass catcher first and foremost.
That could change with a restructured contract for some of their veterans, including Aaron Rodgers.
The exact framework of the deal hasn't been released yet, but there was competition for Graham and he presumably got more than the $8 million per average that the Chicago Bears plan to give Trey Burton.
This came as the Packers themselves likely notified Nelson of his release earlier on Tuesday.
The Packers made sure they didn't lose two of their up-and-coming young players when they extended qualifying offers to exclusive-rights free agents Michael Clark and Justin McCray, ESPN.comreported.
This one comes as a bit of a surprise, though the 32-year-old did look like he had lost a step last season.
Graham is 6'7 and 265 pounds, which makes him virtually impossible for most defenders to effectively cover, especially in the close quarters of a red zone situation. He has caught at least nine touchdowns in five of the last seven seasons.
Last season Nelson's numbers dipped. However, in 2017, he had just 53 catches for 482 yards and six scores. He bounced back for 1,257 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2016, but struggles this past season without Rodgers under center.
The New Orleans Saints - where Graham started his career - were believed to be hot on Graham's trail as well. For now, Cobb remains despite a $9.5 million salary-cap charge for this season.
The rookie in front of Tiger Woods has nothing to lose
Three birdies and one bogey in the final 10 holes saw him keep his slender lead as he searches for a maiden PGA Tour title. Woods expects a tough battle for victory on Sunday, when he can once again expect to be followed by huge crowds.

Kenya's Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga now 'brothers'
Mr Kenyatta and Mr Odinga met publicly at a funeral service where they shook hands earlier this year, but they did not have talks. While Andati called the agreement on unification significant for healing Kenyan politics, the devil will be in the details.

The arrest comes nine months after Gordon was busted for brutally beating his live-in girlfriend Laura Leal in a jealous rage. The pair told DailyMailTV in October that they had reconciled with Leal saying she had been the aggressor in the incident.
