Samsung's 2018 QLED 4K TVs can blend into your wall and control your smart home

Samsung's 2018 QLED TV lineup will include Bixby to be smarter than ever before

"Designed for total immersion and to enhance the daily lives of consumers everywhere, all while being incredibly easy to use, the new QLED TV lineup provides users with the best viewing experience".

Samsung's new lineup will come with OLED TVs which will offer better picture quality and a new experience of TV. Samsung has packed a bunch of features into this year's lineup, including things like an Ambient Mode for displaying useful info during the day, Smart TV features with Bixby integration, and more.

"This year we continue to bring incredible picture quality, enhanced smart capabilities and design that make Samsung TVs a ideal fit for the styles, viewing habits, and connected lifestyles of Australians".

Samsung has its hands in much of the technology we use in our home from refrigerators to vacuum cleaners - and of course TVs.

Samsung has figured out a way to nearly make your TV magically disappear. This is not a game changing feature, but it's nice to see Samsung thinking outside the box.

Samsung will be making its two flagship QLED models available in a variety of sizes. Just ask Bixby. You can even setup your new Samsung TV through the Samsung SmartThings smartphone app, linking to your home's Wi-Fi and apps including Spotify and Hulu. "Thanks to outstanding picture quality of Samsung TVs and accessible high-quality content, gone are the days where you needed a large room for a large screen", he said.

Third straight week 'Black Panther' holds top box office spot
The success of Black Panther will be analyzed and evaluated for years to come as others try to duplicate this film's performance. From Fox and Chernin Entertainment, Red Sparrow beat Death Wish with an estimated $17 million from 3,056 theaters to place 2nd.

In short, Samsung's clever new Ambient Mode tries to prevent the TV from looking like an ugly black box. Samsung has still not given up on curved TVs, as each series would be sold both in flat and curved versions.

Once the Ambient Mode is enabled, the television looks like the wall behind it, with minimal differences.

The new 2018 flagship Samsung QLED TV series is the Q9FN. The most handsome screen that is easy to use and offers complete immersion without any distractions: "this is the promise of Samsung QLED TV in 2018". Also, the One Invisible Connection cable is as long as 45 feet enabling it to be plugged into other components far away from the TV. These UHD TVs include features such as 4K UHD and HDR picture capabilities, clean cable solutions, slim design and Smart TV capabilities. Bixby will let you use your voice to control many aspects of the TV, such as what channel you want to watch as well as compatible devices.

"Devices that were smart are becoming intelligent", says JH Han, Samsung's president of visual display business at Samsung Electronics, on stage at the event.

What's got most people talking post-press conference is the newly introduced "Ambient Mode" - aka a chameleon-inspired approach to screen technology which runs off the SmartThings app. The Q9F would come in 75 and 65-inch screens, and the Q8F in 55, 65 and 75-inch.

That experience will be coming, and coming soon, with the Australian models coming in April, though pricing to come later on.
