Disney/Marvel's Black Panther has continued to dominate the worldwide box office as it is on the verge to cross the $1Billion landmark on a third leading domestic weekend, after amassing an estimated $65.7M.

As reported by Deadline, Black Panther earned an unbelievable $65.7 million in its third weekend in North America.

The film is sure to eclipse the ninth spot on the list, 2017′s Beauty and the Beast, which made $504m domestically.

From Fox and Chernin Entertainment, Red Sparrow beat Death Wish with an estimated $17 million from 3,056 theaters to place 2nd. The movie has positioned itself for a chance at crossing the $1 billion threshold, a massive milestone that was being floated by analysts and critics in the past couple of weeks. With a $69 million budget, this Jennifer Lawrence spy thriller will need help from overseas to turn a solid profit.
