Ready or not, here we go again. This storm is moving faster than the previous one, and the astronomical tides aren't as high.
Fortunately, though the storm will bring plenty of rain, snow and wind, it's not predicted to be as potent as the "bomb cyclone" that battered the region last week. With highs around 45 to 50 degrees, it hardly felt like a significant and plowable snow is on our doorstep.

Parts of North Dakota are dealing with heavy snowfall, including Kulm with a foot of snow and Williston with 11 inches. Farther west from there, amounts will diminish, perhaps rather sharply.
As of 5 am Tuesday, March 6, seven of Connecticut's eight counties were covered by a Winter Storm Warning that will go into effect at 10 pm Tuesday.
The warning spans from 7 pm tonight, Tuesday, March 6, through 3 am on Thursday, March 8.
