Precipitation type will be either snow or rain. Roads may become slippery late.

Some minor to locally moderate coastal flooding is possible along the Northeast coastline Wednesday and Thursday as Winter Storm Quinn impacts the region.

Ready or not, here we go again. This storm is moving faster than the previous one, and the astronomical tides aren't as high.

Fortunately, though the storm will bring plenty of rain, snow and wind, it's not predicted to be as potent as the "bomb cyclone" that battered the region last week. With highs around 45 to 50 degrees, it hardly felt like a significant and plowable snow is on our doorstep.

He said that his administration would deploy workers and equipment to the areas expected to be hit, particularly in the eastern part of the state, and that people without power should consider leaving their homes on Wednesday morning when the snow starts to fall. Low temperatures will be in the low 30s and winds still remain fairly light overnight, although that will change come tomorrow.

Lake-effect snow showers are likely Wednesday through Friday, with light snow accumulations, the outlook said.

"We saw that last week", said Dombek. This time, winds will blow briskly from the northeast, sustained up to 20 miles-per-hour and gusting at times to 30 to 40 miles-per-hour. Expect a heavy snow that will most certainly bring down more tree branches.

NFL Teams Eye Kirk Cousins
As long as Washington doesn't place the franchise tag on him, he is free to go wherever he pleases once free agency begins. What the Denver Broncos do in free agency will dictate how this team proceeds in the draft .

The storm, like many nor'easters, is expected to move east from the Great Plains until it reaches the Atlantic Ocean off the New Jersey coast and encounters ocean moisture, which the storm's counter-clockwise motion would then bring inland in the form of snow.

New Jersey, however, is still expected to receive up to or more than 12 inches of snowfall.

Parts of North Dakota are dealing with heavy snowfall, including Kulm with a foot of snow and Williston with 11 inches. Farther west from there, amounts will diminish, perhaps rather sharply.

As of 5 am Tuesday, March 6, seven of Connecticut's eight counties were covered by a Winter Storm Warning that will go into effect at 10 pm Tuesday.

The warning spans from 7 pm tonight, Tuesday, March 6, through 3 am on Thursday, March 8.

Saturday: Partly sunny. Pleasant. FOX 29's Kathy Orr says the wildcard is rain mixing in with snow in Philadelphia and south and east of the city.
