Chromebook Spin 11
Acer has yet to release any pricing or availability information for the Acer Chromebox. At any rate, expect Acer to double down on Chrome OS devices for school and work this year. The Chromebook 11 C732 is also quite intriguing, thanks to its optional LTE connectivity!
Acer's new "headless" Chromebox CX13 will run on an 8th generation "Coffee Lake" Intel Core desktop processor. It's also IP41-rated so it can withstand a liquid spill, but not a drenching.
Acer also announced a new Chromebook Spin hybrid notebook that features a 360-degree hinge that allows the machine to be positioned in four modes. Recessed keys are created to "prevent tampering and reduce the likelihood that the key caps will be removed by students".
Besides optional LTE, this Celeron-powered laptop has many other things going for it. "The new Acer Chromebook 11 C732 delivers durability features typically found in much more expensive and specialized products". This model, however, will be available in regular retail channels. It will be available in March.
Finally, Acer is launching a Chromebox as well, called the CX13.
Controversial TPP trade pact to be signed Canada's agricultural, seafood and forestry sectors would see some of the greatest benefits, the official said. New Zealand Trade Minister David Parker was on a flight to Europe and not immediately available for comment.
Chromebook Spin has an 11.6 inch IPS Touch-Screen Display with 1366*768 resolution, which is really awesome.
There's an optional stylus for the touchscreen.
The display comes in a variety of guises ranging from basic TN panels to touchscreen IPS display; resolution sits at 1366 x 768, but on an 11.6in display that resolution should be acceptable. It's also well connected with a brace of USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 connections, and a microSD card reader. Plus, it doesn't require a battery and is resistant to accidental drops. Alternate Spin 11 models will ship with an optional Wacom stylus and an outward-facing camera. The two models, the CP311-1H and the CP311-1HN, will be priced at $349 (Rs 22,200 approximately) and will go on sale in the USA starting March. Both types will be available with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage, with up to 8GB of RAM. There are three processor options too, which are listed below.
Acer is giving the popular CXI2 Chomebox a redesign with the CXI3.
Provides excellent performance with 8th Gen Intel® Core™ processors. And for wireless connectivity, it offers 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
Again, this Chromebook will go on sale in April, with the price starting at €379 (around £330, $465, or AU$580). We should hopefully have more details about this little computer soon, so stay tuned.
