Paige Pulled From WWE Live Events, Video Of Paige Sustaining Injury
There's speculation that WWE officials may pull her from live events this weekend due to her history with neck issues, but it's worth noting that several fans spotted Paige at the hotel after the show, so she wasn't hospitalized. As noted, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that it is believed that she had just suffered a mild stinger from the kick. It is unknown if she will have to take any time away from the company at this point. If WWE is committed to keeping Rose and Deville on Raw, then replacing Paige with another established star will be imperative to maintain Absolution's status as a serious threat to the rest of the division.
Considering her past battles with injuries, WWE will likely maintain a conservative protocol in regard to getting Paige back in action.
The Absolution leader finally gets up onto her feet, but quickly falls back down, causing the referee to throw up an X sign up and call the match. While the WWE medical team did bring out a stretcher, the 25-year old was able to leave the ring on her own. Mick Foley posted the following on Twitter that he heard Paige was doing much better after her scary bump.
