Lady Gaga shows off her figure in skimpy outfits. "I will have my own residency at MGM's Park Theater".

Las Vegas residencies have become a popular draw for top music stars because they allow performers to remain in one place and draw large crowd without the rigors of touring.

"This is just the beginning of a new era!" she captioned an Instagram post celebrating the news.

Mother Monster will take to the stage at the Park Theater at Park MGM where she will belt out some of her biggest hits.

"It's the land of Elvis, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elton John, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli". She will allegedly receive $400,000 per performance for the run, which is set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2018 and last a year, with the possibility of an extension into 2019.

She also was spotted attending Lionel Ritchie's Las Vegas show at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood over the weekend. With Britney Spears' show signing off at the end of this year, Gaga's residency could attract some of the same younger pop fans.

"I am SO HAPPY and excited beyond belief to make my own brand new show here with my new Vegas family", the singer added on Instagram. "Thank you to my fans for always believing in me".

Over the past few years Las Vegas has reinvented itself as the place in the world to see superstar performers.

Gaga wrapped the second North American leg of her Joanne World Tour earlier this week and will finish the tour in Europe in January and February 2018.
