TyLon Pittman, a 5-year-old who aspires to be a police officer when he grows up, called 911 to warn them that The Grinch was on his way.

On Tuesday morning, Good Morning America's Michael Strahan shared the sweetest story about a Mississippi-based boy who called 911 on the Grinch.

Local officer Lauren Develle heard about TyLon's concerns and paid him a visit at home to let him know they would take the Grinch to jail if he tried to steal his Christmas.

A young boy attempted to do his civic duty for his community when he placed a 911 call to stop the Grinch from stealing Christmas this holiday season.

Never tell 5-year-old TyLon Pittman that the Grinch is fictional. "Every Christmas morning, my dad wears these Grinch trousers", Develle told the Clarion Ledger.

"He calls people all the time", said Tylon's mother Teresa Brown-Pittman.
