The 2017 MLB Winter Meetings has become quite hot in the land of Mickey Mouse with the news that Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler is moving from Mowtown to the Magic Kingdom.

Update 8:02 PM: Per Ken Rosenthal, any delay so far has to do with his no-trade clause.

In return, the Tigers will receive right-handed pitcher Wikel Hernandez and outfielder Troy Montgomery. Kinsiler will make $11 million in the final year of his contract.

Kinsler has been an All-Star four times and won the Gold Glove in 2016 at second. The 35-year-old second baseman will set up shop back in the AL West next season.

This will be first smartphone manufacturer with inscreen fingerprint sensor
In order for the technology to work, the finger has to be illuminated, so the scanner can read the reflection on the finger scan. As noted earlier, Samsung is also expected to use this technology on its upcoming smartphones.

With the Tigers shedding payroll, the Angels also acquired slugger Justin Upton from Detroit in an August 31 trade and then signed the All-Star outfielder to a $106 million, five-year contract. Last season the Angels went 80-82 but the acquisition of Ohtani and Kinsler show that they're more than capable of a playoff berth in the 2018 season.

Los Angeles also added reliever Jim Johnson in a trade with the Atlanta Braves last month. The former first-round pick posted a.236 batting average, the lowest of his career. Kinsler had iterated that he'd be willing to stay with the Detroit Tigers during the rebuilding phase, but if he were traded he'd prefer a contender. He also hit 22 homers and 52 RBIs in 139 games.

Danny Espinosa and Cliff Pennington split time there for the Halos last season; both are no longer with the club.
