You can now pre-order apps for your Apple devices

Apple let a knockoff version of one of the world's biggest crypto wallets into the App Store

The company announced a new pre-order function that lets developers make their future releases available on the App Store up to 90 days in the future and have them automatically download to devices when they launch. The new feature has only been introduced to developers, but pre-ordering from the Apple App Store should become available soon. Developers can actually change the version, cost, and availability during the pre-booking phase, so the rate may increase or decrease on launch day.

Being able to pre-order an app directly from your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or while sat in front of the TV using your Apple TV is sure to be popular due to how convenient it is. You will see a new pre-order section if your app has never been published before.

If you're spending money on the title, you'll only have to pay once the app or game is released. Also, if there is a fluctuation in pricing during the pre-order period, you'll be charged the lowest price. Just like Apple's other preinstalled apps, it's also not meant to be removed from your phone, but a bug in the operating system appears to be allowing people to do so. Apps will have a "Pre-Order" label along with a tentative release date. If they change the launch date, it has to be no later than 90 days after they first put it up for pre-order. However, in-app purchases will not be showcased on App Store product page until the app is released for download. In order for pre-orders to be available, users must be running iOS 11.2, tvOS 11.2, or macOS 10.13.2 or later. The new feature would allow developers to offer free trials to users for a limited period, or enable the service for new customers at discounted rates.
