After President Trump Slams CNN, James Comey Posts “Freedom of Press”

Trump angry that people take CNN seriously when Fox News is 'much more important'

"We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me)".

While Trump didn't tag CNN in the post, though he did tag Fox News (saying they were "MUCH more important"), CNN nevertheless saw the post and drafted a quick response snarkily reminding the President that what he described isn't their job, it's his.

Donald Trump can't stop getting dunked on by news organizations.

Fox's Laura Ingraham, for example, played along with Trump's idea for a "fake news" contest: "This is really amusing".

The president followed up that tweet with another, that included an article from Breitbart titled "Fake News: Morning Joe Caught Pretending Pre-Taped Day After Thanksgiving Show Was Live".

Photo President Trump returned to the White House on Sunday after a week in Florida at his club, Mar-a Lago.

CNN's Christiane Amanpour responded to the president's tweet by posting a photograph of her late camerawoman Margaret Moth, "who took a bullet in the face covering the facts and truth in Bosnia". In that Saturday tweet, he also insisted that CNN was representing the United States "poorly" to the world. Trump tweeted Monday morning. Since the tape's publication, Trump has been accused of sexual assault by several women, NY magazine reports.

The President also criticized another news organization Monday that he regularly calls out for its negative coverage of him, NBC, saying "their rates are bad, nobody cares!"

And after he got his TV criticism out of his system, the president did finally turn to the legislative hurdles facing his administration and congressional Republicans, offering a few characters in support of their tax plan.
