Harrison Ford Still Playing Hero ... Helps Woman Who Drove Off Highway

Harrison Ford

Local authorities say the actor helped first responders assist the driver of the vehicle, which veered off of the eastbound 126 Freeway around noon Sunday and crashed into an embankment. It is unclear what the cause of the accident was, but fortunately the woman only suffered minor injuries.

A Santa Paula fire department (SPFD) official confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the 74-year-old actor was among several drivers who stopped to help on Sunday. They got her safely out of the vehicle while paramedics arrived at the scene.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived", Alonzo said of Ford.

The government was quick to welcome the upgrade saying it was long overdue. "Looks like sentiments are going to become positive". It also claimed that India's growth potential superseded that of many other sovereign nations.

Once again, Harrison Ford has stepped into headlines (this time not for any plane incidents).

In February, Ford flew directly above an American Airlines Boeing 737 commercial jet with 116 people on it, the Daily Mail reported.

This is not the first time that Ford has lent a helping hand to others. Back in September, he was captured on video directing traffic in NYC's Midtown Tunnel after cars were stuck in standstill traffic because of a auto crash pile up inside the tunnel.
