Both the Amazon Echo and the Google Home allow developers to directly access voice services from their devices, and both also integrate with a long list of music services, with the notable exception of Apple Music.

Remember Apple's smart speaker it was planning to release called HomePod?

Sheriff get your priorities in order, you should be railing against the abomination that sits in the Oval Office. She also said, she doesn't think what's on her truck is any different than what is on TV and social media.

"When HomePod comes out, you'll probably hear some great content from artists that are familiar and popular, and there's probably going to be some other special aspects as well", he said. Apple said that its smart speaker will be able to control home appliances and take basic orders. "We'll start shipping in the U.S., United Kingdom and Australia in early 2018", Apple said in a statement Friday. Amazon created Alexa for the Echo, and the virtual assistant has gone on to be the big breakout tech star of 2017. At $329, HomePod was poised to be one of the pricier smart speakers on the market, but it touts superior sound quality. You can stream other services to it from a smartphone, but not with Siri.

It's not clear what the cause for the delay is, especially since the speaker was revealed all the way back in June. If HomePod isn't shipping by March we may be waiting until late June before it shows up on store shelves. We'll let you know when Apple decides to release the HomePod.
