The Pakistan government has so far not responded to a request made in April by Jadhav's mother, Avantika Jadhav, to meet her son.
Pakistan authorities had claimed that they had arrested Jadhav from Baluchistan and he was engaged in subversive activities and espionage.
But, India moved to International Court of Justice and in major victory, the ICJ stayed Jadhav's death sentence in May this year. Pakistan will submit counter memorial on or before December 13, 2017.

India, which completely rejected Pakistan's charges, reputedly sought consular access to Jadhav.
