On Monday evening, security forces killed three Jaish-e-Mohammad militants in an encounter in Aglar village of south Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Munir Ahmad Khan said, Jaish-e-Muhammad has owned Talha Rasheed.

The other two were "Divisional Commander" Muhammad Bhai, a non-local and Waseem, a resident of Drubgam, Pulwama, said spokesperson of JeM on Tuesday.

An armyman - Lance Naik Vrahma Pal Singh - was also killed in the encounter.

Three terrorists have been killed and the firing has stopped, Army officials said.

A US-made M4 carbine used by North Atlantic Treaty Organisation forces was recovered from the slain militants, pointing to complicity between militants and the Pakistan army, police said.
