The former National Basketball Association player was said to have spent several hours drinking "heavily" before being found slumped in the VIP booth. Several members of the staff, as well as other nightclub visitors, saw Odom collapse.

His spokesperson, however, told E!

The medical emergency comes after Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband spent a "heavy night of drinking" and partying, according to TMZ, with the publication adding Lamar "slumped" on the floor of a VIP booth.

"Lamar's rep says he collapsed due to dehydration after an intense workout earlier in the day without the necessary fluids in his system", TMZ writes. He suffered two heart attacks and 12 strokes and experienced a long hospitalization and recovery to regain his speech and mobility.
