Twitter Employee Shuts Down Trump's Account on Last Day of Work

'Sorry, That Page Doesn't Exist': Trump's Personal Twitter Briefly Goes Down

Donald Trump's Personal Twitter Account Vanished for One Beautiful Minute

Social media giant Twitter says an employee on his or her last day with the company is responsible for briefly deactivating US President Donald Trump's Twitter account on Thursday evening.

Twitter had originally called the act a human error.

Trump responded to the outage Friday in the most Trumpian fashion. Within minutes, the account was once again available.

Technology companies including Twitter are meanwhile under attack from USA lawmakers for failing to stem the spread of Russian propaganda and misinformation on their platforms.

President Trump's account has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again. "The system guys in any company are like the plumbers, they can delete an account, copy material, take over - no one in the tech world is surprised about this".

"This is real collusion and dishonesty", he said in a second tweet.

A Twitter employee, on his last day at the job, deactivated the account of Donald Trump on the social network.

Microsoft has created a digital magazine of two tablets
Now, as per WindowsCentral , the Redmond-based company is planning to launch a similar device as early as next year. To note, the Surface Phone is still expected to run the Windows 10 mobile OS, like the Lumia smartphone series.

Trump has insisted on maintaining his direct access to the public via his Twitter habits, and has been criticised for using an unsecured Android phone. The U.S. president often uses Twitter to disseminate his thinking, sometimes making disparaging remarks.

"We hold all accounts to the same Rules, and consider a number of factors when assessing whether Tweets violate our Rules", the company wrote in a long tweet thread on its "Policy" account.

But quite a few Twitter users admitted they would never forget the "minutes of peace" they had while Trump was offline.

The next month, Trump posted a video in which he is shown wrestling and punching a person whose head bears the CNN logo. "This is like when Lindbergh disappeared in The Plot Against America", tweeted New York Times TV critic James Poniewozik.

Getting rid of Trump's email account for 11 minutes isn't - in the grand scheme of things - all that big a deal.

Following that tweet he launched into a tirade of messages against regular targets including "Crooked Hillary" and "the Dems".
