Their wait is over, with publisher Warner Bros. announcing on Tuesday morning that Injustice 2 would be heading to PC. The best part is that fans will be able to play the game tomorrow, as the open beta opens on October 25.
The Polish studio, QLOC, responsible for Mortal Kombat XL's PC port is also working on the Injustice 2 PC version. Injustice 2 is available now on the PS4 and Xbox One. Additionally, for the first time, gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight and develop across a variety of game modes.
But last night, Ed Boondropped a not-so-cryptic hint that we would finally be seeing Injustice 2 make its debut, but stopped just short of telling us when.
Developed by the award-winning NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2 features a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. NetherRealm is not actually handling the porting process, as QLOC has been tapped for that.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has officially confirmed that the fighting game will make its way to Windows PC, according to Gematsu. And we all saw that coming.
No release date for the PC version was announced, though it will be out in Fall.
