Sunny start to work week, then remnants of Irma to bring rain

How much rain will Hurricane Irma send our way?

While most of the day will be dry, we can't rule out a late day isolated shower.

What's left of what was Irma, is now centered over the Tennessee valley.

The continually weakening remnants of Irma are forecast to push up the Ohio Valley through Thursday, triggering a chance of scattered thunderstorms starting tonight. It's important to note the rain isn't flooding rain, and it doesn't appear any day will be a washout.

Even more sun on Saturday means more daytime heating, leading to a slight warm up to the upper 70s. Clouds will move right back into the area this evening with a few showers developing overnight. Just keep the umbrella on standby just in case.

Their team is very similar to the one we just played, and get a lot better at the details, especially in the critical moments. Topping the rushing list for the Frogs was Darius Anderson, who racked up 106 yards rushing with a touchdown.

High pressure will be slip off the coast today and our wind flow will turn westerly. Readings respond nicely into the middle and upper 70s. Over the weekend, high pressure regains control. The extra cloud cover will keep lows milder than normal, in the mid-50s to 60 degrees. At this point, we are forecasting a mostly cloudy day with highs in the upper 70s.

For Sunday we will reach a high of 82 with another 20% chance of rain and partly cloudy sky. It will continue to feel like summer with highs topping the lower 80s for the end of the work week.

For Friday evening, expect mostly clear and dry conditions throughout the region.

Cooler weather should return to Lancaster County early next week with a cold front moving through Monday night or Tuesday, he said.
