Between then and the Briuns' game against Texas A&M on Sunday at the Rose Bowl, Rosen created far more headlines for things he's done without wearing a UCLA uniform than with one on.

UCLA opened its 2017 season with the largest college football comeback in 11 years, stunning Texas A&M 45-44 Sunday night in Pasadena with 35 unanswered points in the second half. The crucial play on defense occurred when defensive lineman Keisean Lucier-Smith sacked Mond on a 3 and 4th play that forced the Aggies to try a field goal which they missed keeping the deficit at 13 points.

Showing poise and presence, Rosen completed the comeback by finding receiver Jordan Lasley with 43 seconds left in the game. Rosen threw a deep pass down the middle of the field that was intended for Darren Andrews, and Capers-Smith jumped the route and looked to have the ball picked off. At the time of this writing, Texas A&M has 344 yards on the ground with more than a quarter to play.

Rosen finished with 491 yards and four touchdowns on 35-of-58 completions.

Thousands in Frankfurt Evacuated Over Massive Unexploded WWII Bomb
In July, a kindergarten was evacuated after teachers discovered an unexploded Second World War bomb on a shelf among some toys. The bomb was found during work Tuesday close to the Goethe University Frankfurt compound, police said in a statement.

However, a UCLA defense that struggled throughout the majority of the contest needed to stand strong during the comeback and give Rosen a chance to do the impossible.

Texas A&M led 44-10 with just over two minutes to go in the third quarter, and took a 44-17 lead into the fourth quarter. The first half was all Aggies. "I was just so impressed by the way that they managed their emotions at halftime and then coming back in the second half". Coach Sumlin will elect to go with either senior Jake Hubenak, redshirt freshman Nick Starkel, or true freshman Kellen Mond.

"We're not used to this heat", said James Tinker, class of 1998, who lives in Seal Beach, California. "We all know they're a great offense". Rosen did what he does best, though, and put the team on his back.

UCLA: The Bruins host Hawaii on Saturday, as the Rainbow Warriors seek their first 3-0 start since 2007.
