The NFL vehemently denied this allegation Friday morning, saying it is "unequivocally, absolutely false" that Goodell did not know of Roberts' findings before he suspended Elliott.

The NFLPA and Elliott have already filed a suit requesting a restraining order on his suspension.

Elliott testified that he didn't receive explicit permission from the woman before pulling down her shirt, according to the website, but he learned later that day she did not have a problem with it.

The NFL has hit back at an accusation by Ezekial Elliott that the league orchestrated a "conspiracy" against him. The NFL referenced the incident as part of its domestic violence investigation, apparently considering it relevant to Elliott's suspension case.

There was no mention of Friel, and none of these advisors listed were directly involved in the league's investigation.

If Henderson rules that Elliott remains suspended for any stretch of games, the court then can decide to stay the suspension while it reviews the matter, and Elliott could potentially be allowed to play while the case works its way through the courts. She made her point of view on particularly the credibility issues known in the report; they are reflected in the report.

Explosion Risk at Arkema Plant in Texas Forces Evacuations
That analysis factored risks based on the amount and type of risky chemicals on site and their proximity to the public. Employees at the plant have been evacuated and families were being evacuated into early Wednesday morning.

"Elliott and the NFLPA attacked Roberts' absence as a process failure during the appeal hearing and plan to exploit it if they go to federal court to seek a temporary injunction against a suspension. The 160-page report included a fulsome description of the credibility problems of both Tiffany Thompson and Ezekiel Elliott". "Mr. Elliott looks forward to being completely vindicated and will continue to explore all other legal options to redress the reputational and monetary harm that he has suffered".

Not only has Elliott not legally been charged with anything related to the case, but there have been reports indicating that his accuser, Tiffany Thompson, harassed him and considered blackmailing him with sex tapes.

Elliott is coming off a sensational season in which he rushed for a Cowboys rookie-record 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns.

When asked during the hearing if that's what he thinks "consent" means - Elliott replied, "I mean, I think consensual to me means it's wanted".

The Cowboys open their season at home against the New York Giants on September 10th.
