Throw your mind back about a week ago - no-one knew Taylor Swift was going to release new music, let alone drop an anthem as huge as "Look What You Made Me Do"; the current Vodafone Big Top 40 number one.

There's no disputing the fact that Taylor Swift is officially in comeback mode.

Premiering at the MTV Video Music Awards, the dark electro-pop track begins with the singer crawling out of a grave with a tombstone reading "Here lies Taylor Swift's reputation".

After months of silence, she (re) exploded onto the music scene last week with a series of teasers, a new song, a music video, and the announcement of an upcoming album. "I'm assuming what she means by [the title] is, 'You made me break every record, you made me out-sell everyone, you made me hire the best backup dancers in the world, you made me come out of a grave, you made me tilt a bunch of tombstones at one time, '" he explained. Her enemies, including Kim Kardashian, have used the snake symbol before as a thinly veiled reference to Swift and it appears that the singer is now claiming it as her own. This means that it would take 31,250 fans streaming the song on repeat for a waking day in order for "Hey Mama" to hit 4.5 million plays, which would be slightly more than the daily streams for "Look What You Made Me Do" on August 27.

The bathtub shot also sees Swift flanked by a single dollar bill, the amount she was awarded for winning her court trial against a radio DJ who groped her during a photo.

"Sending my love and gratitude, Taylor" ended the message.
