Tom Cruise injured filming stunt on 'Mission: Impossible 6' set

Tom Cruise Apparently Injured While Performing Mission: Impossible 6 Stunt

While filming Mission Impossible 6 Gemini in London, the 55-year-old actor was injured after he jumped off the side of a building and failed to make it successfully to the other side.

Tom is now on set in London and he was wearing a safety harness during the time of the accident.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the actor is harnessed to cables to keep him aloft, and can be seen leaping from the top of one building to another. He is able to hoist himself up, but walks with a visible limp before collapsing next to crew members.

Cruise is known for doing his own stunts.

Trump goes after Blumenthal: 'He was a phony Vietnam con artist'
Instead he said plainly that he had misspoken, and he apologized in a normal tone of voice, not by "crying" and "begging". Trump wrote similar tweets about Blumenthal in February during the nomination of now-Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

While details on the latest installment of the Mission Impossible franchise have been kept under wraps, Skydance Media CEO David Ellison recently revealed Tom has been training hard for the stunts in the film, saying it's going to be the most "impressive and unbelievable" stunt work Tom has ever done. We wish Tom Cruise the best, and hope he recovers quickly. When I started producing 'Mission: "Impossible, ' I started developing different action around what I could physically train to do".

While the extent of his injury is unknown, his rep and manager did not provide any comment to press.

M:I 6 is being directed by script writer Christopher McQuarrie, who has previously worked with Tom on movies Jack Reacher, Edge Of Tomorrow and Valkyrie, and Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson will both reprise their roles from Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation as Alan Hunley and Ilsa Faust respectively.
