According to Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United has offered Barcelona €40 million for midfielder Sergi Roberto. "Chelsea and Monaco are weighing up offers", reports Sky Sports.

Sergi Roberto has been deployed as a right full-back for last two seasons with the Barcelona squad possessing excellent midfield talent such as Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic.

And in the wake of emergency, Sergi rose to prominence as he starred in a makeshift role, making 47 appearances in total over last season, with 6 assists and a goal to his name.

The player being fought over is Sergi Roberto.

Fans Fuming Over Wax Museum's Portrayal of Tom Brady: 'It Looks Terrible!'
Weeks ago, while celebrating Bundchen's 37's birthday, Brady posted a photo of the model riding a horse on a beach. If you observe, it seems like unbelievable that such youthful face could be getting that landmark.

The 25-year-old's future at the Camp Nou is thought to be unclear after Ernesto Valverde's arrival in the managerial hotseat. The Red Devils are looking for further reinforcements and Sergi Roberto could be an ideal player with the ability to play both as a midfielder and now as a right-back as well.

The Catalans have stated that Sergi Roberto's wishes are to remain with Barca, but have also said that "there is plenty of time remaining before the transfer window closes and things can still happen".

It will be interesting to see what the young Spaniard decides as Barcelona has already deemed a player "not for sale", but saw him leave just weeks later.

They claim Roberto is non-transferable, but with Mourinho and Conte both trying to secure his services, they could try to start a bidding war with both clubs trying to build their squads to challenge for the Premier League title.
