The overall form is a bit more rectangular than last year's Pixel, with the corners looking a bit sharper and the phone having a reportedly better in-hand feel. Fans have been expecting Google to make wider changes to the Pixel 2 in response to criticism of the debut phone.

While a number of Canadian carriers have discontinued the Pixel from its lineup, and rumours of the Pixel 2 launching soon, Google has reduced the price of the Pixel and Pixel XL by up to $200 CAD. But Google Pixel 2 will have some issues if the rumors are true! The regular Pixel, however, looks more like a pre-2017 smartphone. That's quite surprising considering nearly every premium smartphone vendor is moving to a bezel-less display. Similarly, Google looks set to resist the movement towards dual camera setups, instead persevering with the single lens from previous year.

The Google Pixel 2 renders reveal that the volume rockers and the power button will be placed on the right side of the device. The glass window is much smaller this year, and the fingerprint reader now sits outside of it, as a part of the aluminium body. One of them is black-gray combination, the same colors as Evan Blass' photos. Will you be buying one or are you getting the larger Pixel XL 2?

We know Android purists are probably inclined to hold off on their first-generation Google Pixel purchases, what with an enticing pair of HTC and LG-made sequels drawing near and all. This new device will have the same top and bottom bezels just like Pixel and Pixel XL have. GSM Arena posted some live photos earlier today showing what may be the flagship device, sent to them by an anonymous "tipster".

A big thanks to our anonymous tipster! The photos show the pre-production units. This isn't a particularly notable deal, as Google Home is often on sale, but you can pick up the firm's digital assistant appliance for just $109 during this sale. The glass covered almost one-third of the original Pixel's back panel. The Pixel 2 will also keep HTC as its manufacturer. However, it still does not confirm whether the company will nix the headphone jack or not.

Sikkim stand-off: India building up troops, repairing roads, alleges China
India fears that the road-building activity would allow Chinese troops to cut its access to the seven states in the Northeast. China and Bhutan have been engaged in negotiations and consultations to resolve their boundary issue since the 1980s.

The Nokia 8 is expected to come out running on the Snapdragon 835 with 6GB of RAM. It will be the first smartphone to run Google's Android O operating system. They are also nearly sure to come with at least 4GB RAM, at least 32GB internal storage and the latest Android O operating system.

The pricing and features of a possible new Pixel phone haven't been disclosed yet.

The Google Pixel 2 will likely be unveiled in October. Ahead of the new phone's launch, the search engine giant has slashed the price of its current phones.

The five-inch base model Pixel that comes with 32GB of storage costs $524, which is $125 cheaper than its normal $649 price.
