According to Cleveland Police, it all started after the boy's mother repeatedly honked her horn at a white Pontiac auto that was blocking the road.

Miraculously, officials said the bullet did not enter the boy's brain. The shooting occurred amid an escalating road-rage incident that began near West 28th Street and Division Avenue, according to police. That vehicle, described as a white four-door Pontiac with tinted windows, then followed her onto the freeway and drove up alongside her vehicle. He was taken to the hospital where he is in serious condition. "The 7-year-old girl suffered minor scratches from shattered glass, police said".

Witnesses said two men were standing by the Pontiac when the woman started honking. People with information are asked to call investigators at 216-621-1234.
