Start Your Weekend with 10 New Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne Cards

Packed full of new features and cards, the expansion will be available for download next week, on Thursday, August 10th.

Officially unveiled in early July, the next Hearthstone expansion will drop on August 10, Blizzard announced today.

It introduces 135 new cards to the game and nine legendary Hero Cards that, after being played, transform the game's heroes into Death Knights.

Following Journey to Un'Goro, Blizzard is releasing the next expansion in Hearthstone's Year of Mammoth with Knights of the Frozen Throne. This change affords them new, devastating powers. Playing through these will earn you free packs from the new set.

Trump's Grand Jury Response: Russia 'Fabrication' Just an Excuse for Clinton's Loss
Democratic National Committee CEO Jess OConnell said the grand jury was a further confirmation that this was not a " witch hunt ". Under our law, a grand jury may conduct a probe simply to satisfy itself that no crimes have been committed.

The title of the expansion will be a familiar one for longtime Warcraft fans, with its theme revolving around the Frozen Throne and Prince Arthas's transformation into the Lich King.

These missions include a prologue, which will reward players with a random Legendary Hero card after completing, as well as boss fights and an epic battle against the Lich King himself.

As mentioned above, the set is also including a new mechanic called "hero cards".

More than half of the cards from the expansion have been revealed, with more likely to be spoiled as the launch of Knights of the Frozen Throne draws nearer. Uther's new hero power allows him to summon a 2/2 horseman of the apocalypse, if you get four horsemen down on the field you automatically win the game.
