What should Steph Curry expect? Mark Rypien recalls his PGA Tour experience Harry How Allsport

"It was an unbelievable experience, and to shoot two 74s, I'll take that", said Curry, who will nearly assuredly miss the cut at the event held in Hayward, Calif. "A lot of guys texted me that I know on the PGA Tour, guys on the Champions Tour, reaching out and congratulating me on a solid round, and I got into the social media stuff, too".

After shooting a four-over 39 on the front nine, Curry played the back nine in even-par 35 in front of the largest crowds for the second consecutive day.

Curry could make the cut and said he'll check scores to see what he needs to shoot.

When asked if he'll be leaving basketball like Michael Jordan to pursue a career in another sport, Curry got some chuckles with his answer and relieved Golden State fans at the same time. A spectacular bunker shot set up the 10' effort.

That prompted Curry to tap his club against one of his shoes, and to hold up the ball with a big grin on his face.

"I heard it from the moment I announced that I was playing", Curry said.

Tragedy meets comedy as 'Kevin Can Wait' plans macabre twist
The decision to fire Hayes came after actress Leah Remini guest-starred in the last two episodes of Kevin Can Wait's first season. Sherman was asked about that notion as well, but he says that Kevin Can Wait stands on its own.

To be fair, Wheatcroft backed down and was full of praise for Curry. All things considered, the Warriors guard has to be satisfied with his performance in his first professional golf tournament.

"There may be a couple of athletes on the PGA Tour, maybe Dustin Johnson or Gary Woodland, who could look athletic on a basketball court, but they aren't going to play to the level that he did as a golfer".

Stephen Curry has made an athletic life out of silencing doubters, and now he's done it in two different sports. It was almost impossible for him to lose a ball.

Curry's other playing partner, Stephan Jaeger, shot 67.

On Thursday, Jaeger made a key assist down the stretch.
