Government begins probe against Tej Pratap Yadav in Rs 90 lakh ...

While the old guard has given up hope for a marked revival in the party's fortunes anytime soon the young and restless in the party seek 'change.'

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today called Nitish Kumar "palturam" and accused the Janata Dal (United) leader of being greedy for power.

Nitish also talked about the break-off from mahagathbandhan, saying that he had no other choice after it became "impossible to continue" the alliance with the RJD. "I urge Sharad Yadav, whom we consider the true leader, to travel to every corner of the country and come to Bihar and join our fight against the BJP and Nitish Kumar", Lalu told ANI.

"I was left with no option", Kumar said, on his decision to dump the so-called grand alliance.

Amazon might have a job for you in Oklahoma City
Amazon Wednesday announced it has more than 50,000 roles available to fill across its USA fulfillment network. Amazon said in January that it planned to add another 100,000 full-time jobs in the U.S.by mid-2018.

The Rajya Sabha member has met a number of opposition leaders since Nitish Kumar walked out of the three-party Grand Alliance, which also included the Congress, and joined the NDA. Jitin Ram Manjhi, who was made the chief minister for a brief spell in 2015, when Nitish Kumar stepped down after the party's poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections. Lalu brought up the criminal cases against Kumar in an attempt to discredit the JD (U) chief and protect his son Tejashwi from the corruption charges. "It is now JD (U)'s headache and not ours", a top BJP leader said. With Nitish Kumar switching sides, the first half of its mission is nearly complete as it rules the vast territory between the two regions barring West Bengal, where Mamata Banerjee is firmly in the saddle.

Asked what had changed between 2013 and now, the JD-U chief said the "context now is different". Ridiculing Kumar for his claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would face little challenge in the 2019 general elections, Prasad said, "Keep shouting slogans in favour of Narendra Modi. It is surprising", JD (U) leader Ali Anwar after meeting Sharad Yadav said. "I have full faith in him and hope he will strike at benami properties in a big way", said Kumar.

However, this is not the first time that cases against Nitish have been pulled up against him. "It is unfortunate that the coalition has broken", Yadav told reporters in Parliament. "The people of Bihar showed him his worth in 2010 (when RJD's strength was reduced to 22)", he said.
