Reports say Spicer disagreed with Trump's decision to hire NY financier Anthony Scaramucci as White House director of communications. The decision, controversial among White House staffers, caused White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer to resign from his post Friday morning.

Spicer presided over caustic six months between the media and the White House, and the press secretary wasn't shy about directing his ire toward the press in general and CNN in particular.

Taking over his place was Sarah Huckabee Sanders who confirmed that Sean Spicer had been doing some extra work since Mike Dubke resigned in the wake of White House shake-up. Another White House official said the 53-year-old political figure is a "total professional" who has high regard of the USA president.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders was named as Spicer's replacement.

JIM ACOSTA: I talked to a source close to the White House just a few moments ago about all of this, and it sounds like there is a lot of turmoil going on behind the scenes in this press shop, in this communications shop.

Morgan Stanley, least-worst in trading, could see 10% upside, analyst says
Bond trading revenue saw an uptick toward the end of the quarter, a move indicative of the bank's upcoming business, Pruzan said. Institutional Securities revenues rose 4.3% from the year-ago period, while Investment Banking revenues surged 27%.

Glenn Thrush of The New York Times first reported Spicer's resignation. Whether or not Spicer quit, was sacked by President Donald Trump or if Sean resigned on his own is the source of questioning happening on social media, as news broke about Spicer's resignation on Friday morning.

While not a surprise, Mr Spicer's departure was abrupt and reflected turmoil in Mr Trump's legal and media teams amid a widening investigation of possible ties between Mr Trump's campaign and Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Priebus and Spicer spent years working closely together at the Republican National Committee.

Scaramucci had previously been expected to lead the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs under the Trump presidency.

"This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, both in person and around the globe", said Spicer on January 23, 2017. Further, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus is also reportedly very opposed to Scaramucci.

He said it's okay if there's a little bit of "friction" in the White House. Melissa McCarthy famously satirized him in "Saturday Night Live" sketches in which he rode a podium like a tank through a battlefield and the now-former press secretary emerged as a household name.
