Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), which issues Aadhaar numbers has launched an app called mAadhaar that lets you carry your unique identification profile on your mobile. The app is now available for Android platform, and it comes with features like biometric locking/unlocking to secure the personal data.
With the Aadhaar app, one can carry her demographic information including name, date of birth, gender and address along with photograph. With Aadhaar number holder profile download, you will have a convenient way to carry the unique number with demographic details anywhere. With this initiative, UIDAI reduces the burden of carrying the Aadhaar card everywhere you go, given the fact that Aadhaar eKYC details are required for everything today. After which you will be able to download your Aadhaar number profile. Also, in the app, there is a biometric locking and unlocking system.
With the mAadhaar application, clients will have the capacity to get the update respective of the endless supply of the refresh demand and they will even have the capacity to share QR code and password secured eKYC information to recover exact statistic data from it rather than manual section. Instead of that apps is featured with TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) generation process. Once you download the app, it will allow you to import all your data, but not before setting a password.
